I'll be honest. 2011 sucked. And now with 2012 barely begun and my second semester of law school already going strong, I am cautiously optimistic that this is going to be a very good year.
I've had two days of class so far, and with tomorrow being the third I will have one class period of each subject. So far, I'm loving it. Last semester I had contracts, property (gag!! ....except for the hot teacher....), torts, and legal writing & research. This semester I'm taking civil procedure, constitutional law, legal writing & research II, criminal law, and criminal procedure. I've know for quite some time that I would like to pursue a career as a prosecutor, and the limited exposure I've had thus far to criminal law and procedure has only solidified that goal. I genuinely find it so fascinating, and I am so excited for what the rest of the semester is going to be like. So here's to 2012, however it may turn out! :)
